The project is really quite interesting. Open source is an opportunity to show your skills both in programming and in the artistic direction for everyone. The Sunflower Land development team openly supports the initiative to expand the project. I can also note that the administration listens to the community and goes to a meeting, using the example of the AMA conducted to resolve the issues and problems of users. I, as a programmer, join the expansion of the project and wish Sunflower Land success in development!

The Devs, community and project are amazing! Just love how everything is so organic and lively!
There is/was no airdrop/ICO/premined tokens or any of that jazz. Everything grew organically. Even the Devs played the game and farmed SFF themselves, and along with early adopters set up a liquidity pool although they were not getting much in return other than just wanting to help the project grow.
The Devs are amazing as they did not start with any tokens unlike every other crypto game that exists and were doing it as a hobby on the side from their full time job. They then put their full time job on hold just so they can work fully on the project. To play the game you donate a small 0.1 or more MATIC to 1 of 3 charities, so the Devs did not gain anything from it.
I started back in October 2021 when it was only a quaint small community of around 100 members on discord. It was just a bunch of people wanting to play a casual game together, which was inspired from games like Stardew Valley and Harvest Moon. Then it just exploded to 50,000 members in just a few weeks.
The goal is to make the project as decentralised as possible, sort of like a DAO where people can contribute their art/music/ as NFTs and ideas which will be integrated into the game. It’s an open source game where the community is working together to develop the project with the arts/designs, programming, tokenomics, and just helping each other out in general. I’m super pumped to be part of this project and community as I see great potential.

I didn’t manage to spend much time on the previous version because I joined a few days before it went down. But the team has done an amazing job and now it’s looking promising! Hope to jump on this game soon!
