zkEVM mainnet beta urgent upgrade Date: Sunday, 24th Mar 2024

Due to the network issues encountered during the last few days, we need to make an urgent upgrade to recover the verification of proofs and, therefore, the possibility of withdrawals from the network.Please note that a MANDATORY and URGENT zkEVM mainnet beta infrastructure update is needed BEFORE the upgrade, otherwise RPCs will stop working.The new versions include some fixes on the executor, and it’s mandatory for infra providers.
The instructions for partners are:

  1. Stop the RPC, Synchronizer, and Executor components
  2. Update node (RPC and Synchronizer) to v0.6.3
  3. Update Prover/Executor to v6.0.0
  4. Start the components in this order:
    4.1 Executor
    4.2 Synchronizer
    4.3 RPC

We understand that this short notice may be an inconvenience and we sincerely apologize for any difficulties it may cause. Please know that we are working diligently to resolve the situation as quickly as possible and appreciate your patience and understanding

Is the DB cleanup from previous instructions still required?

Also, I see that node 0.6.4 is out - do you recommend 0.6.3 or 0.6.4?

Prover/Executor to v6.0.0
