The Heimdall and Bor service should only be started after the download is complete. When setting different data directory, you will need to make change.

When using the command sha256sum [file], the checksum will be displayed, being able to compare if the authenticity of the file corresponds to that available on the website: Polygon Monitor
What is the snapshot update period?
Once a week.
Why use snapshot?
This will make your node take less time to join the network. It will be incredibly fast to sync.
