📢 Reminder: ethDYDX Still on Polygon Bridge - Action Required by June 9, 2025

Hi Polygon community :waving_hand:

My name is Mega and I’m from the Governance team at dYdX Foundation. I’m writing to inform you that, following a community governance proposal on the dYdX Chain, support for the ethDYDX-DYDX bridge (the “Bridge”) and the ability to migrate ethDYDX from Ethereum to DYDX on the dYdX Chain is expected to end on June 9, 2025.

This means that any ethDYDX not bridged before this date may permanently lose the ability to be converted to DYDX on the dYdX Chain.

We’ve noticed that there are still 55,624.52 ethDYDX tokens held on the Polygon Bridge contract (0x40ec5b33f54e0e8a33a975908c5ba1c14e5bbbdf).

If you hold ethDYDX on that contract, we strongly encourage to complete the bridging to dYdX Chain before June 9, 2025.

ethDYDX lost most of its utility after dYdX Trading Inc. shut down dYdX v3 in October 2024. It is therefore likely that ethDYDX could be rendered useless and, potentially, valueless as a consequence of the Bridge closure.

The dYdX Foundation has published a step-by-step guide to bridge ethDYDX from Ethereum to the dYdX Chain. Thank you!

If you still hold ethDYDX on the Polygon Bridge, you must bridge it to the dYdX Chain before June 9, 2025. After this date, migration support ends, and your tokens may become permanently unbridgeable and potentially worthless. Act now to preserve their value. A full guide is available from the dYdX Foundation.
