Proposal: Educational Content & Community Growth for Polygon
Overview
Hi everyone 
, I’m Gideon, a content creator focused on DeFi, Layer 2s, and Web3 education.
Over the past weeks, I’ve been creating threads, visuals, and explainer posts on Twitter to make complex protocols like Aave, Optimism, and Polygon more accessible to everyday users.
I’d like to contribute more directly to the Polygon ecosystem by creating consistent, high-quality educational content that:
Onboards new users to Polygon
Explains key products (zkEVM, DeFi, gaming, infra) in a simple way
Builds stronger community engagement around Polygon’s vision
Deliverables
If supported, here’s what I’d provide over a 4–6 week period:
Educational threads (2–3 per week) breaking down Polygon tech & ecosystem projects
Custom infographics/visuals to make concepts easier to grasp (examples: L1 vs L2 highway analogy, DeFi x L2 crossover)
Community engagement as a reply-guy & educator across social platforms
Analytics recap of reach & impact
Why Polygon?
Polygon is leading the way with zkEVM scaling + strong adoption in DeFi, gaming, and enterprise.
Education is the bridge between technology and users; and I want to help make that bridge stronger.
Timeline
Week 1–2: Focus on zkEVM explainers + DeFi projects
Week 3–4: Expand to gaming, infra, and real-world adoption stories
Week 5+: Community-driven requests → adapt content to what users want most

Provides shareable content that teams, community members, and advocates can use
Strengthens Polygon’s position as the most user-friendly scaling solution

I understand that grant programs may currently be closed. If direct funding isn’t possible right now, I’d still be glad to contribute on a volunteer/community basis while building trust and showing results.
