Hi there! I want to flag PFP-04, which I opened a few weeks ago in the Polygon Funding Proposals repo!
Review HERE → https://github.com/0xPolygon/Polygon-Funding-Proposals/pull/18/files
In summary, PFP-04 proposes updating Community Treasury Board (CTB) membership to remove Ajit Tripathi, who has asked to leave the CTB due to other work obligations that limit the amount of time he’s able to contribute to Board obligations.
In his place, Mashal Waqar has been put forth as a potential new member by the CTB. Current Board members believe that Mashal’s experience in web3 ecosystem development, grants, and governance make her an excellent contributor to help drive the future of the Polygon Community Treasury.
In her own words:
“I’ve spent the last few years working deep in the grants space: from researching programs and working with grants operators, to launching grants programs and councils, to finally evaluating effectiveness and impact of programs. I’ve seen countless ways grants go wrong, and I want to help in getting them right. I’m interested in joining the Board so I can support improving grants distribution and growth at Polygon. I believe I can contribute to bringing meaningful growth over Polygon’s ecosysteem and contribute to improving layers of support for builders.”
A detailed bio for Mashal has been included as part of the proposed changes put forth in PFP-04.
Barring any major community concern, the CTB will work to onboard Mashal in the coming weeks.
