Lost WETH when sending from Metamask to Binance

Hi all…please kindly extend your help.
It seems I’ve sent WETH in the unsupported network.

Here is what I did:
At the Binance(.com) website, I went: Deposit Crypto- Coin: WETH, Network: ETH (ERC20)
Then, I’ve sent some WETH to the displayed address on Binance from my Metamask wallet on the “Matic Mainnet” network.

Below is the Transaction Details:

After waiting half a day or so, I noticed the deposit wasn’t successful.
Then, I applied to retrieve it via “self-service recovery” on the Binance Support Center.

Here is their responce:
“Application Rejected: Currently unable to retrieve unsupported token deposited via MATIC network , our technical team is working on it, will announce when retrieve work is available.”

I’d like to ask the following questions:

  1. Does that mean I should wait for the team to retrieve it?
  2. Is there anything else I can/should do at this stage?
  3. Will it be retrieved eventually?

Ok…I hope they will support Polygon network with WETH.

I had the same problem. I think binance has a problem with matic network integration.

Did you have a solution for that. If you share with me i will be appreciated
