How to transfer ERC20 token from Ethereum to Polygon using Bridge?

I have deployed an ERC20 smart contract in Ethereum Goerli Network, How to transfer it to the Matic Mumbai network and vice versa?

This is such a terrible response and still 3 months later zero follow up.

I can’t see how this works either, having the same problem as @Karthikeyan with Goerli/Mumbai.

There is no way to select any token other than ETH to bridge over.
