Faucet fails to send MATIC on Mumbai network

Hello. I would like to begin testing a dapp with MATIC on the Mumbai Testnet. I have no MATIC and am unable to proceed. The faucet submits through the workflow and acts as if the transaction is fine – it says it may take 1 to 2 minutes before the tokens arrive.

I tried this over 8 hours ago, and again recently, to no avail.

Pretty sus. Would flag this as potential scam but I don’t see the Flag option.

Turns out you can get some MATIC in the Polygon discord. I recommend maybe updating the docs, as it wasn’t clear to me that the web faucet was broken.
