Echo Protocol Defense
In the Echo Protocol, Automated Forensics and Self-Healing form the zero-tolerance security layer of the Proof-of-Routing Consensus Engine.
The Context: Proof-of-Routing Consensus
Unlike traditional blockchain consensus models (such as Proof-of-Work or Proof-of-Stake) that operate purely on-chain, Proof-of-Routing binds consensus, node eligibility, and economic incentives directly to physical performance and spatiotemporal invariants. Validator nodes lock native token collateral in a staking contract to participate in the routing grid. To earn rewards, nodes must cryptographically prove they adhere to physical laws by validating Zero-Knowledge Spatial-Temporal Proofs (ZK-STP) for physical coordinates $(X, Y)$, Verifiable Delay Functions (VDFs) for temporal time-deltas, speed-of-light propagation boundaries ($d/t \\le c$), and recursive cryptographic hashesma
