Didn't receive my matic token

Hello everyone!
18 days ago I sent my matic token from exchange into my ledger wallet. Transaction is sucess but on my ledger matic didn’t show up. I checked at blockchain and I think transacion stuck or something. Here is my id transaction 0x67dcf0840e6f9fb6c53627756b577dfa06b3622fcff4a711c9fa3d4dee4ecba9. Today again I sent some matic but with relly high fee and I got it. What I can do now?

Everything it’s fine now. I have my tokens so I’m calm, glad for respond.

Reason why MATIC token is not supported on PoS-

MATIC is the native token of Polygon and it has a contract address -

  1. 0x0000000000000000000000000000000000001010 on the Polygon chain.
  2. It is also used to pay gas. Mapping the MATIC token on the PoS bridge will lead to MATIC having an additional contract address on the Polygon chain.
  3. This will collide with the existing contract address as this new token address can not be used to pay for gas and will have to remain as a normal ERC20 token on the Polygon chain.
  4. Hence, to avoid this confusion, it was decided to retain MATIC only on Plasma.

Hi,

I have a situation.

Purchased Matic and trying to trasfer from my coinmerce (Binance)account to my dutch bitvavo wallet.

Then Around 1311,325 matic were transferred to matic wallet with address
0x1d33E516cDF6011817D406e3a694ECDc4a4cB381

The transfer was successful completed from Coinmerce but Matic Wallet at bitvavo ’ 0x1d33E516cDF6011817D406e3a694ECDc4a4cB381’ is still empty.
bitvavo seems to be usingETH en not polygon (MATIC blockchain)

Can someone tell, what might have gone wrong?

Hi!
I can see the matic on the wallet so the transaction was successful. However, not sure if bitvavo supports the PolygonPoS.
This is something you need to address and solve with the Bitvavo exchange. I recommend opening a support ticket with them.

i opened a ticket with bitvavo but they do not support polygon blockchain
and telling me to contact coinmerce

I would follow their suggestions.

Unfortunately, nothing can be done on our side to help with the recovery. After all, Polygon is a permissionless blockchain.

Bitvavo has below message for me and not able to help me:

Important:
You can only deposit this asset using the Ethereum Proof-of-Stake (PoS) network (as ERC-20 tokens).

I was wondering if you have received back your Matic from bitvavo? I have the same problem with them … I am considering starting a legal action against them. Let me know if you are interested in joining.

I got a similar problem:
I bought Polygon worth 185€ = 282 MATIC . At first I received and bought 201.33785 MATIC and then two seconds after I did the aquisition and the Polygon were on my wallet, something strange happened: MATIC got sent away with 100% fees (201.33 MATIC) and 0 transmitted MATIC. I did not recognize something was going wrong and did another transaction for 170MATIC=85€ and bought the sum from Mercuryo. But here the total sum also dissapeared but with less trasaction fee (around 1 MATIC).
It was the first time I used this seedphrase and I used the MetaMask Wallet.

I hope someone can explain this and solve the problem, i am pretty confused and shocked somehow btw.
