Delegate Platform
- Candidate Experience
With a background in fraud investigation and law enforcement, I transitioned to DeFi back in 2020. At Balancer, I engage in creating robust governance frameworks and ensuring compliance with evolving regulations, contributing to community-driven initiatives and supporting efforts to align protocol goals with operational needs of multiple decentralized teams and service providers. My time in the space has given me familiarity with Polygon’s ecosystem and the tools needed to address its governance challenges. This experience positions me to bring practical insights and strategies to Polygon governance.
- Delegate Philosophy/Motivation
My motivation to participate in Polygon governance stems from my experience in the DeFi ecosystem and my understanding of governance challenges. Over the years, I have worked closely with protocols and communities, particularly through my role at Balancer, where I focus on creating governance frameworks that address the complexities of decision-making and coordination between multiple DAO service providers, remote team work and decentralized governance.
Having followed Polygon’s development closely, I am familiar with its infrastructure and its evolving role in the DeFi space. My participation as a delegate aligns with my goal of contributing to sustainable governance systems that reflect the community’s needs and foster the protocol’s growth.
I approach governance with a commitment to transparency, collaboration, and practicality, ensuring that decisions prioritize the long-term health of the ecosystem and alignment with web3 ethos. While my focus remains on governance and potential co-creation actions between Polygon and Balancer, I also bring experience from supporting community-driven initiatives, which helps balance operational needs with community interests.
I see this role as an opportunity to apply my insights from the DeFi industry and broader professional experience to support Polygon’s growth, particularly in areas such as compliance, community engagement and infrastructure & operational improvements. This participation is also an avenue to engage with Polygon’s dynamic ecosystem and contribute meaningfully to its future.

Conflicts of Interest
-
As a contributor to Balancer, I maintain a focus on governance that aligns with the best interests of both Polygon and Balancer. To ensure impartiality, Balancer will have team member(s) assisting with proposal review, idea generation, voting justification, and other governance-related tasks. This collaboration will help maintain a balanced approach to decision-making.
-
@danimim is a service provider for the Balancer OpCo, a company wholly-owned by the Balancer Foundation, and was tasked with monitoring governance proposals as outlined in a governance resolution. This includes providing insights and facilitating discussions to ensure informed decision-making across the Balancer ecosystem.
-
When participating in Polygon governance, I will evaluate proposals based on their direct impact on Polygon’s ecosystem. For decisions that do not overlap with Balancer’s interests, my voting will prioritize Polygon’s long-term growth and the benefit of its community. In cases where proposals intersect with Balancer’s scope, I will carefully consider how they align with the goals of both ecosystems to avoid any undue bias.
