Hello All,
We are releasing a new version of Bor - v0.4.0-beta-5 for Testnet. This version includes a hard fork named Indore fork. Please upgrade your mumbai nodes before block number 37,075,456 (Polygon Block Countdown) which is expected to be mined on Tue, Jun 20 2023 around 6 AM GMT.
Instructions to Upgrade
Before proceeding, please create a backup of your bor config.toml file as well as password.txt and keystore folder.
- Stop bor service
sudo service bor stop
- Install Bor with a version tag, network name (mainnet or mumbai), and node type (sentry, validator, or archive).
# Replace the node type
curl -L https://raw.githubusercontent.com/maticnetwork/install/main/bor.sh | bash -s -- v0.4.0-beta-5
<network> <node_type>
- Check bor version
/usr/bin/bor version
# It should print
# 0.4.0-beta-5
- Restart bor service
