Bor sync very slow

I had download the bor snapshot, but the bor sync still very slow. Is there any setting to speed up?

Maybe you should upgrade hardware spec.

I am also experiencing the same thing here. The first time I set up my node was ok, but there was one day difference since snapshot… now it’s like 10 days since the snapshot and it’s been syncing for 2.5-3 days. Is this normal?

I solved it by replace my HHD to SSD. It speed up 10-30 times.

Mine is already SSD. I really don’t understand why it takes so long… It’s been a week. Is this normal?

Is there a way to increase the number of threads/processes of Bor? I am running on an 8core machine and it seems that the CPU is underutilized.

pretty much the same as yours… how long did it take to catch up from the snapshot?

I spent about half day for catching 2 day blocks data. How fast was your net bandwidth? It costed much bandwidth of upload, and how much import blocks one time? I imported 30 blocks one time, when it catch block data.
