This release introduces major security and flexibility improvements to the Agglayer, addressing key areas.

Hybrid Security Model: Eliminates single points of failure in aggOracle and aggSender through a new, modular pessimistic program design.

Multisig & SP1 Verification: Enables multiple signature verification directly within the pessimistic program no need for extra aggchain-proof components.

Configurable Governance: Chains can opt for multisig, SP1 verification, or both, and may also rely on a default Polygon-run committee if desired.
Introducing AggKit
As part of this release, the team is also launching AggKit a standardized toolkit that makes it easy for non-CDK chains to connect to Agglayer.
AggKit simplifies interoperability, allowing any chain to join the Agglayer ecosystem while maintaining its sovereignty.
Unified Bridge Update
This release includes smart contract upgrades on the Unified Bridge. A timelock has been activated to give the community time to verify the updated source code.
