Aalborg Upgrade [PIP-11] will be rolled out on Mumbai Testnet on 12th September.
This upgrade activates the “Milestones” feature as described in [PIP-11] that introduces faster deterministic finality in Polygon PoS.
Please note that this upgrade is not backwards compatible (Hard Fork). Further information about Bor and Heimdall releases and instructions to upgrade will be provided in the next few days.
