"Dear Polygon Team,
I am writing as a loyal MATIC investor who has been with this network since the beginning. I love Polygon, but I am writing today because I am worried and, frankly, disappointed.
I participated in last week’s 52% rally. I studied the project deeply during this movement, and my conclusion is bittersweet: it felt like the initiative only served to feed a few ‘big and hungry mouths’ (whales) rather than building real, organic value for the community.
While the burn of 1 million POL daily is a good headline, it feels like a ‘band-aid’ for a project that has lost its soul. Polygon used to be ‘smart’ and agile. Now, it feels like a cold, institutional infrastructure that has aged poorly. I’ve seen projects like DGB and DASH disappear because they focused on ‘the future of money’ but forgot to be useful or creative for real people.
Financial engineering and burning tokens will not save us if there is no creative spark or real-world utility. Please, do not let Polygon become another ‘Zombie Chain’ that only exists to provide exit liquidity for big players. We need innovation, soul, and a reason to stay that goes beyond speculation.
From a loyal but concerned veteran."
